Two pieces from my residency at Butler gallery alongside 2 cyanotype prints created documenting feelings of dysphoria. The four works tell the story of community and disconnection mediated by each other. The works discusses DIY HRT, dysphoria, waiting and unconditional care. Bodies will be opening on December 5th, 2024.
The large scale cyanotype prints measuring 60 x 70cm. They were created with images from a photography project undertaken during the documentary photography course at The Gallery of Photography. The images break apart and divide the body. Communicating the disconnection of dysphoria though cropping and reflections.
